DESCRIPTION:Il dibattito “The Union wasn’t built in a day. What role has Italy to play?”  è promosso dall’Istituto Luigi Sturzo\, la Fondazione Adenauer e l’Università di Leuven. In occasione della pubblicazione del libro  ‘Why Europe? An Integration History from A(denauer) to Z(elenskyy)’ del Prof. Steven Van Hecke\, verrà proposta una riflessione sul ruolo dell’Italia nel processo di integrazione europea tra passato e presente. Che ruolo ha avuto l’Italia in passato? Che ruolo può ancora rivestire l’Italia oggi? Come è cambiato l’atteggiamento degli italiani e della politica italiana nei confronti dell’UE? L’accordo storico recentemente raggiunto dal Consiglio Affari interni e giustizia in materia di migrazione può essere considerato un successo anche italiano per rendere il tema più europeo?
