The partners of the two EU funded projects KVALUES - Key competences: Validating Adult Learners’ eDucational ExperienceS and ENKDIST - European Knowledge diffusion of digital storytelling, on the occasion of the closure of their activity, are organising the final event in Brussels, on the 7th of October 2014.

The conference called “A Slice of Life - New ways of using digital storytelling for lifelong learning” will present the findings of the two projects and focus on the future of the methodology and its application.

The two projects are in fact a starting point to open a debate on how European projects related to digital storytelling led to practices that enhance growth, evolution and development of people and institutions toward paths never imagined.

In the morning, representatives of the main stakeholders in the validation of the competences acquired through the informal learning will take part at a panel for debating on the criticalities encountered in the use of digital storytelling to tackle unemployment.

Moreover Joe Lambert, founder of the Center for Digital Storytelling of Berkeley (USA) in 1994 and partner of the ENKDIST project, will conduct an interactive session by involving the audience in order to explore further perspectives about the digital storytelling effectiveness in light of the projects’ findings.
